Welcome to the site of the 16th Course / Festival
'Guitare en France'
15-22 July – 2023
‘Guitare en France’ takes place in the Château de Celon (XVe siecle), a gem of a venue in the rural Berry region, near Châteauroux. Its peaceful environment and the surrounding silence make it an ideal place for an intensive yet convivial course.
Our mission is to provide an all-round guitar experience to a limited number of guitarists of all levels (Grade 4 and above) in a non competitive environment.
The 2023 team of internationally renowned teachers/ performers will share their experience, guide and inspire you by giving individual tuition classes, orchestral and ensemble workshops, workshops on technique, lectures and concerts. By offering special attention to the needs of each participant the team will make your week one of your most rewarding musical experiences.
I have had the pleasure of creating and directing the course/fest ‘Guitare en France’ since 2007.
